New members of People's Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) officially took their oath of office administered by Bayawan City Mayor Pryde Henry Teves last October 7, 2019.

PLEB is composed of five members where city councilor Jonas Trias was appointed as the chair, who is now the committee chairman for Peace and Order. The other members are representatives from DEPED, Legal and NGO.

According to Councilor Trias, PLEB was established in accordance to the R.A. 6975 to handle and investigate local complaints against police officers so that Bayawanons will not need to go to the court.

PLEB assures active and fair action in case of complaints.

They are giving their service for free and their office is located in the Legislative Bldg. Cabcabon, Brgy. Banga, Bayawan City.
