Responsibility vs. Unreliability Discussed by City Treasurer's Office, September 8, 2003
Knowing and doing what is expected of me.
Rewards of ResponsibilityTrustWhen a person completes the work he or she is given to do, this person will gain trust from others. His or her good reputation will open the door for increased responsibility. ProfitPeople will reap what they sow; if they are negligent in their work, they will reap nothing in reward. However, people who do what is expected of them will reap a profit greater than the effort they put into work.
Responsibility in the home includes: * Parents diligently working to provide for the family * Accepting the challenge of making the household run as smoothly and efficiently as possible * A parent giving a child encouragement and advice * Children obeying and honoring their parents in actions, words, and body language * Developing skills to the best of one’s ability
The Bald Eagle
From its lofty perch, the magnificent bald eagle is able to keep a sharp lookout over its entire domain. With its keen eye-sight, the eagle can investigate unusual disturbances a mile below as it soars through the sky. |
