I enjoyed reading the account of what went on in the city of Bayawan during the holiday season of 2011. The writing style is superb and professional, a mark of very good education.May your work and effort to represent Bayawan in cyber space continue; it made me feel connected to my past which i miss for 44 years of being away. I can feel that things have change and it changed for the better. More power to the leaders and people of Bayawan.I am looking  forward to reading the articles again. Keep the good work up.

Good day! Sa imong pangutana…aduna na bay available na SASSO chicken or any source of this chicken.

As for the Animal Center LGU Bayawan City thru the City Agriculture Office, we have no available SASSO chicken since we had already change our production into native chicken which is the crossing of SOLOHANON and DARAG native chicken of Panay.  As of today we have no knowledge who’s the supplier of the SASSO chicks.  Mr. Inocencio of Teresa, Rizal is no longer in the business for SASSO production.  He was the one who distributed SASSO breeders last 2006.  You may search in the internet for SASSO breeders.  Thank you!

1. Duna bay libring technician kung pananglitan mamuhi mi ug baboy unya among e AI (Artificial Insemination) kun dunay bayad, pila man sad.

2. Duna bai libring siminar about aning mga livestock business

Lain pud nako nga pangutana,
available ba ni or naa bay mga similya ug
Fresh water prawns (sugpo) sa bayawan.

Nia nakoy insakto nga puhunan, apan kinahanglan ko ug mga nindut na sources sa baboy.

Any suggestions or reading materials about the availability of livestocks market and other related material is highly appreciated.

Services of LGU-AI Technicians are free but has to be requested through the Brgy. Agricultural Technician. Until recently however Ali-is is not included in the service area because of problem in transporting semen in frozen state.

No fry of fresh water prawn are yet available in Bayawan since the Danapa Aquaculture facility is yet to be started.  Instead, tilapia fry are available subject also to request. 

For both subjects, free seminars are periodically held by the City Agriculture Office in coordination with the Brgy. Officials.  Reading materials are available also at the (FITS) Farmers Information Technology Service.

i just want to suggest that the city must have a fair taxes and not to costly for investors to put up businessin the city.Time comes that there were no investors will put up business because of the high taxes that the city impost.Y not giving afair taxes?

Our current revenue code which was approved 2007, is strictly observing what is authorized by law,  the R.A. 7160.  The fundamental principles of taxation has been strictly observed pursuant to Sec. 130 of this Republic Act.  Tax rates are applicable nationwide not only in Bayawan.

To be fair, are businessmen issuing the corresponding official receipt for every purchase made by our consumer?  This would answer your suggestion.  Our tax base is gross sales or gross receipts.

Please don’t forget also that taxation is not only factor for investors to come-in in the locality.  Peace and order, buying capacity of consumers, facilities like good roads, water, lighting, transportation facilities either by air, land and sea are just some factor to be considered.  With the number of new investors in the city nowadays, who would say no investors will come in the city.  Physically we can see new buildings constructed relative to business.  If taxation or high taxes is the reason of not putting their business in Bayawan, why are these buildings exist now.

For more clarification, please attend the business forum this coming Dec. 13, 2011 at the Integrated Business Center (IBC), Bayawan City.
